The Beginning

Inspired by my Dad HamstreetBirder who has recently returned to blogging his birdwatching trips and most exiting spots over the past ten years, I have decided to follow in his footsteps and create my own blog. 

The purpose of this blog is not only to share with some of you what birds I have seen and where, hopefully with some photos aswell, but also to reflect and document my progress at a beginner twitcher battling with attempting to identify the birds that I see. 

I hope that some of the people that read this will enjoy it as much as I am going to enjoy writing it!
